International Budo Renmei is based on the philosophy and principles of Sensei Dennis Fritchie, founder of the Bodai Shindo Ryu style. Bodai Shindo Ryu translates to "The way of the Inherently Enlightened Mind, Heart and Spirit.
Fritchie Sensei was a former Uchideshi and Jikideshi under Niikura Sensei from 1982 until 1995, when he founded International Budo Renmei, of which he is the current Kaicho. International Budo Renmei is still affiliated with Niikura Sensei and the Ryokukai style.
International Budo Renmei is made up of primarily three arts. Karatedo, Iaido, and Aikido. Although other arts are taught in International Budo Renmei, these will make up the majority of your training.
Training for over 30 years, Sensei Dan Panczyk holds the rank of 7th Degree black belt in Karatedo and 4th Degree black belt in Aikido. Sensei Panczyk founded Absolute Martial Arts in 2008 with his wife Heather.
